This is a simple folding knife intended for light duty daily daily use with a focus on foraging. I particularly like this style of knife for mushroom picking because I can keep it loose in my basket, then open and close ot one handed easily. The handle is made from black walnut slabs with an ironwood spacer, secured with 1/8’’ brass pins and epoxy. I use the same 1095 high carbon steel in this knife as all my kitchen knives.
