This is a heavy duty butcher’s knife. It is forged to 95% of it final shape from 5160 steel. The blade has some chiseled shooting stars along the spine for added character.
The handle is made from stacked apple-wood burl with an elk-antler core and leather spacers. The copper guard is silver brazed in place, and the copper pommel is threaded on the tang and pinned in place.
It sports a simple, thin leather sheath more for transportation than for hip-carry.
