Hidden Tang Bird and Trout
Forged from reclaimed M35 cobalt steel, this is a little knife with a lot of uses. The alloy is exceptionally hard, but somewhat brittle. The blade shape lends itself to precision use and it carries an exceptional edge.
The knife is silver brazed onto a brass tang and then a threaded rod extends through the handle. behind the guard in a Black and Gold truestone spacer, followed by compressed leather disks. finally, the pommel is secured by a brass and steel pommel nut chemically fixed in place.
The locally sourced chrome tanned leather is hand stitched and formed. It uses a button style strap for retention.
