Hidden Tang Utility - Turquoise and Padauk
This is a small but robust utility knife. I forged it from 5160 spring steel sourced from an abandoned 1940’s Hudson vehicle.
The brass guard is silver brazed in place. Behind it sits a synthetic turquoise stone fit snuggly against the main portion of the Padauk handle. Finally the pommel is brass and helps shift the weight of this stout knife into the user’s hand.
The sheath firmly retains the knife via passive retention. It is composed of chrome tanned black leather with the ability to accommodate a 2 ½’’ belt.
sheathed length 7 9/16’’
overall length 7 3/16’’
blade length 3’’
blade thickness 3/16’’
