Those lovely knife is a Nakiri style chopper. Its made from 1095 High Carbon stock with a higher primary bevel ground slightly thinner than normal. The result is a lighter blade that feels lively in the hand while maintaining a forward weight for chopping. I slimmed and extended the handle to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes and grip techniques. The handle slabs are made from Wenge and Paduak, which proved a dramatic color contrast to one another.
