This is a small utility that would be excellent for someone with small hands or for light daily use for anyone. The natural curve of the antler best suits a right handed user. The handle is made from whitetail antler shed and bears some teeth marks from small animals chewing on it. Then blade is forged from 1095 tool steel reclaimed from a Nicholson bastard file. The tang of the blade is brazed into 1/4-20 threaded rod which goes through the handle. The pommel in made from a steel nut encased in brass. unfortunately, i had some impurities in the brass and during fish sanding some of the porosity and steel became visible. This is the reason for the discounted price.
The sheath is made from locally sourced chrome tanned black leather. It’s been double stitched and has a durable build despite it’s small size. the belt loop can accomodate up to a 2-1/4’’ belt
